• Dale Crogan

    President and Board Member

    Dale has worked in the fire and medical service for the past 32 years, 30 of which has been with Mesa Fire and Medical Department (MFMD). He is currently a captain/paramedic, but has served in multiple and varied positions and roles during the tenure with MFMD. Dale is most proud of his current role as a peer support coordinator for firefighters, all City of Mesa employees and their families.

    Robert Brewster is a Assistant Chief for the City of Peoria Fire and Medical Department. He has 28 years of experience in the fire service and is dedicated to developing effective peer support and resiliency programs.

  • Jim Hayden

    Board Member

    Jim is the CEO and Founder of EMS Advisors, a healthcare consulting firm that specializes in the world of EMS. Starting in the industry as an EMT, Jim learned going to peoples’ houses on the worse day of their lives isn’t an easy job. He learned later that people are the key to the organization’s success and became the company’s first Union President; and later led every facet of the operation, managing thousands of employees and millions of dollars in revenue.

  • Glenn Kasprzyk

    Board Member

    Glenn Kasprzyk is the Regional Chief Operations Officer for American Medical Response (AMR) overseeing operations in Arizona and New Mexico. AMR is the largest private ambulance company providing integrated emergency medical services in 40 states and transports more than 4.8 million patients per year.

  • Marc Lieb, M.D., J.D.

    Board Member

    Marc Leib is both a physician and an attorney. He has a history of strong leadership in Arizona's medical community. Dr. Leib is the former Chief Medical Officer of the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS), Arizona’s Medicaid Program. In that capacity, he helped determine the clinical policies governing the care provided to over 1.5 million Arizona residents in AHCCCS. Dr. Leib was the longest serving CMO in AHCCCS history, having served in that position for just over ten years.

  • Emma Hayden, Firefighter

    Emma Hayden is a certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and Firefighter for the City of Scottsdale Arizona. She has a passion for helping others and being part of EMShlep.org she can assist with being a part of a truly meaningful cause. Emma is an Arizona native and is a graduate from Arizona State University with a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology. 

  • Chief Mark Galliard

    Chief Mark Gaillard has been the Fire Chief of the City of Flagstaff Fire Department since August of 2013. Chief Gaillard is a highly educated and accomplished fire service professional, holding an associate's degree in fire science, a bachelor's in management, and a master's in Fire Service Administration from Arizona State University. He has earned prestigious designations like Chief Fire Officer and Executive Fire Officer, and serves on various regional and state committees related to homeland security, fire training, and fire chiefs' associations. 

  • Nicki Bartram

    Board Member

    Nicki Bartram is a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor with dual Master's degrees in Clinical Counseling and Business Administration. She currently serves as the Health and Wellness Commander at the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, where she leverages her expertise to promote wellness in a Division aimed at reducing mental, physical, and spiritual burnout.

    Passionate about empowering individuals, Nicki encourages them to recognize and build upon their existing strengths and to leverage their support systems, ultimately guiding them toward leading fulfilling lives.

  • Simone Cuccurullo

    Board Member

    Simone Cuccurullo joined Arizona’s Family as a weekday morning anchor on Good Morning Arizona in August 2023, after three years as an evening anchor at WWBT in Richmond, Virginia. Before that, she anchored and reported for WBBH/WZVN in Fort Myers, Florida, where she covered major hurricanes like Irma and Dorian, and began her career at WICU/SEE in Erie, Pennsylvania. A Temple University graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Media Studies and Production, Simone is passionate about mental health advocacy and previously served on the board of Mental Health America of Virginia. Originally from Philadelphia, she’s a devoted Eagles fan who enjoys dining out and spending time with her dog, Daisy.

  • Jason Winsky

    Board Member

    Sergeant Jason Winsky is a veteran Tucson Police Department sergeant with over 20 years of experience who created and leads the Mental Health Support Team and related diversion programs that connect people with mental health and substance use needs to treatment instead of jail, resulting in reduced uses of force and fewer crisis deployments. He co-leads regional Crisis Intervention Team training, is a Mental Health First Aid trainer, has developed advanced mental health–focused law enforcement curricula, and has received national recognition and awards for his work in policing and mental health.
